Don’t waste hours grinding. Here is the fastest way to complete the “Winter Offensive” Red Bull challenges and secure the Zenith Parachute before the event ends on Dec 16.
The Battlefield 6 x Red Bull event is officially live as of this morning, and if you’ve looked at the “RedSec” challenge tab, you might be scratching your head. Some of these objectives—specifically the movement-based ones—are finicky at best and broken at worst.

We’ve already seen players in the Battlefield Discord complaining that their combat rolls aren’t tracking. After testing it ourselves for the last three hours, we’ve found the workarounds.
Here is the definitive “cheese” guide to unlocking the Zenith Parachute and Highly Charged Dog Tag in a single afternoon.
The Distinction: Can Codes vs. In-Game Challenges
First, a quick PSA to save you money.
- The “Bull Headed” Patch & XP Boosts: These are earned via free in-game challenges. You do not need to buy Red Bull cans for these.
- The “Spotlight” Player Card: This is the only item locked behind the QR codes on physical cans (currently US/UK only). Don’t let scalpers on eBay trick you into buying codes for the Parachute skin—it’s free if you play the game.
- Buy the Can: Purchase a qualifying Red Bull product at one of the retailers listed above.
- Find the Portal: Scan the QR code on the in-store Battlefield poster, or visit the specific partner site (e.g., the GameStop/Red Bull portal) and enter your details.
- The “Receipt Check”: Upload a clear photo of your receipt showing the qualifying purchase.
- Get the Code: Once verified, you’ll receive your unique 16-digit promo code.
- Redeem: Head over to ea.com/games/battlefield/battlefield-6/redeem, sign in to your EA App account, and punch in the code. The item will appear in your “Player Card” inventory immediately.
Challenge 1: “Perform 3 Combat Rolls off Ledges”
The Problem: The game’s physics engine is picky about what counts as a “ledge.” Jumping off a roof and hitting the roll button (Circle/B/Ctrl) often registers as a standard fall. The Fix: Stop trying to do this off buildings. Go to the Practice Range or a low-stress area in Conquest.
- Find a standard shipping container or a waist-high concrete barrier.
- Vault over it, but hold the crouch button mid-vault.
- As you hit the ground, you will force a combat roll animation.
- Pro Tip: Do not sprint before the jump. The sprint-jump animation overrides the roll trigger. Walk to the edge, jump, hold crouch.
Challenge 2: “10 Seconds of Consecutive Parachute Time”
The Reward: Zenith Parachute Skin The Cheese: You cannot do this in standard multiplayer matches on maps like Kavir Drydocks—the skybox isn’t high enough for a full 10-second glide unless you basically stall your momentum (which makes you a sniper magnet). The Fix: Queue into the new RedSec mode on the Fort Lyndon map.
- Spawn in the deployment plane.
- Wait until the plane is at the very end of its flight path (autodeploy).
- Deploy your chute immediately upon exiting.
- Do not touch your movement stick. Drifting forward increases descent speed. Just float. You will hit 10 seconds easily before you touch the ground.
Challenge 3: “5 Seconds of Golf Cart Airtime”
The Problem: Golf Carts (the tactical EV transport) are death traps, and finding a ramp in the middle of a firefight is suicide. The Fix:
- Drop into RedSec Solos (don’t ruin a squad match for this).
- Land at the Golf Course POI on the north side of Fort Lyndon.
- Grab a cart.
- Drive it off the cliff edge near the lighthouse.
- Important: You do not need to survive the landing for the challenge to count. You just need the airtime. Ride it into the ocean if you have to.
Challenge 4: “Sprint for 600 Seconds”
The Cheese: This is cumulative, but if you want it done in one match:
- Equip the “Lightweight” Perk (Assault Class).
- Equip the Combat Knife (fastest run speed).
- Play Conquest on the larger maps. Avoid vehicles entirely. You should knock this out in roughly two matches of organic play.
Is the “RedSec” Mode Worth It?
While you are grinding these challenges, you’ll be spending a lot of time in the new RedSec extraction mode. Early impressions? The economy is brutal. If you don’t buy the Signal Jammer early, you will get droned to death by campers.
We’ll have a full deep-dive on the RedSec meta later this week, but for now—get in, get your Zenith skin, and get out.
See you on the battlefield.
